3 Years On: Still Deeply Grateful
In 2023, the Lord Mayor’s Medals celebrated their 40th anniversary — and what an honour it was to be nominated and selected as one of just 20 recipients that year.
The Lord Mayor’s Medal recognises Bristol’s unsung heroes: individuals and organisations who give their time selflessly through voluntary and community work to make our city a better place.
Since then, it’s been wonderful to see so many other inspiring local people continue to be recognised for their outstanding contributions.
A few of the recent recipients:
– 2025: Jan Bohin
– 2026: Heather Williams, Luke Cooper, Keith Way, Avril Marshall, Web Matthews
(And of course, a special mention to Landon from Lego Legends back in 2023 — what a brilliant young lad!)
